FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you provide stretcher
A: Unfortunately we do not. Our vehicles are not equipped to transport stretchers. We do however transport patients that require a wheelchair.

Q: My residence has a set of stairs/steps (inside or outside), is that a problem?
A: Absolutely not a problem. All we ask is to be informed of this type of situation while scheduling your appointment. All we need to know is how many stairs or steps and the weight of the customer. Stairs are no problem, but this way our driver is prepared.

Q: Are you able to provide a wheelchair if necessary?
A: Yes, each vehicle is equipped with a wheelchair and straps to hold it in place. Please let our representative know if a wheelchair is required.

Q: Can you provide transportation to passengers with oxygen?
A: Yes. We require that the oxygen tank is secure to either a wheelchair or the oxygen tank holder. Please note that our staff is prohibited from administering oxygen.

Q: What types of wheelchairs will you transport?
A: We can transport majority of wheelchairs. As long as the wheelchair fits onto our lift and the driver finds it safe to transport, we are able to provide the service. Please let our staff know if you will be traveling with your own wheelchair. If you have a wheelchair that is not of standard size, please advise us while scheduling your appointment.

Q: Can a family member or a caregiver ride along?
A: Yes, we actually encourage that one of your family members or a caregiver ride along with you, but this is not a requirement.

Q: Do you accept medical insurance?
A: An insurance company may cover your transportation service, but we request that you call your insurance company ahead of time and find out what their policies are. We require payment at the time of service; we will provide a receipt that you will be able to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
